In order to get around Khao Lak without taking a taxi, it is possible to rent scooters from our agency. You will thus be freer to discover for yourself the northern part of Khao Lak, more authentic and less expensive than the center.

These 125cc, 150cc, and 300cc scooters are automatic and very easy to ride. However, don't forget to apply for an international driving permit from your local prefecture as soon as possible; this process is free, but the waiting times can sometimes be very long (several months).

It's important to know that driving in Thailand is very different and they drive on the left. We recommend you be very careful and wear the helmets provided, even though most locals don't.
